Three-Stage Pond Water Treatment

Mechanical Filtration

Pond water passes through the supplied K+Media, which captures suspended debris and helps improve water clarity.

Biological Filtration

The specially designed filter media provides surface area for beneficial bacteria that help process harmful nitrogen compounds produced by fish waste.

18W UV Clarification

The integrated UV clarifier helps control suspended green-water algae, improving pond water clarity.

Innovative Air Clean Technology

Unlike conventional pond filters that require regular removal and washing of sponges, the Evolution Aqua Surge Filter uses a patented air-assisted cleaning process.

Simply isolate the filter, switch off the pump and open the waste valve.

As water drains, air enters the filter and agitates the K+Media, helping to dislodge accumulated dirt.

The dirty water is discharged through the bottom waste outlet.

This practical cleaning system reduces the need to dismantle the filter during routine maintenance.

Ideal for Raised Ponds

The vertical filter body can be mounted against a suitable wall, timber frame or supporting post.

Installation

The Surge Filter operates using a suitable pond pump, which supplies water through the lower inlet.

Filtered water exits through the upper outlet and returns to the pond by gravity.

The filter must be installed vertically and secured to a suitable supporting structure.

A correctly protected electrical connection is required for the integrated UV clarifier.
