LifeTime Sleeper ponds

We advocate for our customers to consider the installation of one of our sleeper ponds if they are interested in this option rather than opting for a raised block pond or a ground pond.

With our sleeper ponds, we take the initiative to go above and beyond, ensuring they are constructed to endure. While it may require more effort, this commitment distinguishes our products from others. Generally, sleeper ponds are quite affordable, and although ours may be slightly more expensive, it is important to note that when you choose to install a LifeTime Ponds sleeper pond, you are investing in peace of mind. You can be assured of its durability. Upon completion and payment of the final invoice, you will receive a 5-year guarantee certificate, providing you with confidence that it has been constructed correctly and is built to last. Our reputation speaks for itself.

All of our ponds are constructed with the highest quality and craftsmanship, ensuring that everything is done correctly to 100%. We utilize treated timber, as is common among most sleeper pond builders; however, what is often overlooked is that this timber is treated to resist pests, such as bugs, borers, and mites that can damage the wood. While this is a concern, the primary issue with the timber is not the pests but rather the rotting process, which represents the weakest link and the most significant challenge to their longevity. Rot is the most detrimental factor affecting any sleeper pond, primarily because they often lack the appropriate treatment to prevent water from infiltrating the timber. Can you envision water accumulating between the liner and the timber, seeping in from the bottom upwards from the pond's floor? This moisture would struggle to evaporate in a closed environment, especially with cold water pressing against the liner, creating a substantial problem that typically limits the lifespan of most sleeper ponds to around five years.LifeTime Ponds we make sure to take the time to completely treat the sleepers ceasing them off with high quality varnish that removes all possibility of water entering the sleepers, water being barricaded from getting into the timber will give it that extra life that will double if not tripling its lifespan if maintained regularly as like any timber should be. We offer this service too at an additional cost that is.

We do not merely utilize decking timber for the finishing top display; instead, we select Oak wood ranging from 60 to 80mm, which we then handcraft and install as our tops. This process provides a natural-looking wooden edging that enhances the overall appearance of your pond, giving it a complete and polished look. We use a high-quality transparent material that is designed to endure for as long as the pond itself, resulting in a fantastic smooth shine that reveals the natural grain of the Oak. This attention to detail imparts a unique touch and feel of elegance to your pond.
